Vernon residents invited to stroll with the studios

The free event is a way to showcase local arts and crafts from Vernon creators

The opportunity to stroll through Vernon artist studios, and take a peek at what they are creating is here.

Dubbed the First Friday Studio Stroll, the free event is a way to explore creativity up close.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to meet the artist behind the work as they share insight into their processes.

Strolls will take place on the first Friday of every month, beginning this Friday, May 3.

Participating artists on May 3 are:

Mandi Irmen- Gallery Vertigo (2901 30th Ave.) from 12-4 p.m.

Lisa Nagy - (4104 Okanagan Ave.) from 12-4 p.m.

Gerry Marchand - 4216 Wellington Dr. (Upper East Hill) from 1-5 p.m.

Nancy Vince - 3021 Coachwood Cresc. (Coldstream) from 2-5 p.m.

Christine Kashuba - 7371 McKoryk Rd. (North BX) from 4-8 p.m. A cyanotype demo will also take place at 4:30 p.m.
